The Christian WAR
Standing in Christ against the world, the flesh, and the devil
11-13 June 2024 – IPC Ealing
The 2024 IPC Catalyst Conference will look at spiritual warfare in the Bible, theology, and lived Christian experience. We will begin each day encountering the living God in Scripture in our morning expositions. These will expound the foundational work of Christ in his conquest over evil in his atoning death, taking time to explore the classic understanding of Christus Victor. The rest of each day will then explore the believer’s fight against a hostile world, our struggle with fallen human nature, and our resisting of a supernatural adversary.
Each day will consist of the following sessions:
The Work of Christ
Sinclair Ferguson (Morning Expositions)
The World
David Filson
The Flesh
Matthew Mason
The Devil
R. Kent Hughes

He and Dorothy have four children and twelve grandchildren. As a member of Trinity Church, Aberdeen, he serves in an honorary capacity as the Preaching Associate.
David Filson is Adjunct Professor of Apologetics at WTS in Philadelphia and Pastor of Theology and Discipleship for Church and Academy at Christ Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Nashville, TN, where he has served for the past decade. He has been in vocational pastoral ministry for over thirty years. David has a background in youth ministry and church planting. Oliver Buswell and Cornelius Van Til.

Matthew Mason has served as a pastor of churches in the UK and USA. He is the Assistant Director of the Pastors’ Academy, teaches ethics at London Seminary, is Director of Crosslands Cultivate, and is an associate fellow of the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology. Special Catalyst Event

Sin and Temptation in the Christian Life
Wednesday 12th June 2024, 6-11pm
Hog Roast & Summer BBQ hosted by Westminster Theological Seminary
Ealing IPC
There are 120 free places for an evening of good food and reflection on the battle against sin in the Christian life. The aim of the evening is to take time to apply some of the teaching of the conference in more detail and depth, with time for questions for our speakers and interaction with each other. This year the BBQ will be hosted on site at Ealing IPC
The event is first come first served, but priority will be given to those currently in or considering further theological education (male or female) and to those in church ministry responsible for the training of others. It is only open to those attending Catalyst.
